Debra Denny
Programme Leader, Fashion Technology Programmes – Debra is a fashion graduate of AUT University and has a Tertiary Teaching Diploma from MIT. Since 2008, Debra has been the Academic Leader for Whitecliffe Fashion Tech. She’s led Kleenex Cottonelle and Resene student projects and represented Whitecliffe Fashion Tech in India three years in a row.

Dr Roman Mitch
Programme Leader, School of Information Technology (Auckland) – Roman is an artist and full-stack developer with a long-standing involvement in the arts and culture sector in Aotearoa. Roman has a doctorate in fine art from Auckland University’s Elam School of Fine Arts. He joined Whitecliffe to continue bridging creativity and innovation.

Dr Deborah Green
Currently at Ubisoft Toronto, she worked at Pixar Animation, Playstation, Hinterland Studio and Digital Domain. Known for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Advantageous and the much anticipated Far Cry 6. She gained her Clinical Master of Arts in Arts Therapy through Whitecliffe College. She was awarded her Doctorate by the University of Auckland in 2016 for a thesis exploring her arts therapy practice during the Canterbury earthquakes.

Matt Ellwood
Head of School, Fine Arts – Matt Ellwood completed his undergraduate studies at Auckland University’s Elam School of Fine Arts in 1996 and has a PGDip in Teaching from Auckland College of Education. He graduated with a Master of Fine Arts (1st class honours) from Elam in 2003. Matt is currently the Head of Department for the Fine Arts department at Whitecliffe.
