Each student is assigned a personal, state-of-the-art workstation. During your time on campus, you will have access to 4-months of guidance from an industry professional to create and polish your demo reel.

Asset Creation is a term used in the CG industry for the creation of all bits and pieces, both big and small, used in Film and Games. This Asset Creation program is designed to train working artists in the CG Industry for the roles of Props & Environments for Film, Characters & Creatures for Film, Environments for Games as well as Characters & Creatures for Games.

Steve Roens
Professor Emeritus, Composition – Steve Roens holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology from Swarthmore College, a Master of Fine Arts degree in music theory and composition from Brandeis University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in composition from Columbia University.

Carol Sogard
Professor Carol Sogard has been teaching Graphic Design in the Department of Art & Art History at the University of Utah. She also is the principal of Visual Think Design, creating unique design solutions for a variety of clients inside and outside of Utah.

Michael Hirshon
Michael is a freelance illustrator and Assistant Professor of Illustration. He holds a BFA in Visual Communication and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and an MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

Sarah Projansky
Sarah Projansky is Senior Associate Dean for Faculty & Academic Affairs in the College of Fine Arts. She holds a joint-appointment as Professor of Film & Media Arts and of Gender Studies and is an Adjunct Professor of Communication.
