Asset Creation is a term used in the CG industry for the creation of all bits and pieces, both big and small, used in Film and Games. This Asset Creation program is designed to train working artists in the CG Industry for the roles of Props & Environments for Film, Characters & Creatures for Film, Environments for Games as well as Characters & Creatures for Games.

Professor Victoria Kelly
Victoria is a historian by discipline with a subject expertise that spans the boundaries between design history, material culture, and social history. Victoria started her academic career at UCA in 1996, teaching Critical and Historical Studies with BA fashion, textiles, and interiors students. She was Research Co-ordinator from 2005 – 2009 and delivered interdisciplinary teaching to MA students from 2005, leading research methods units.

Simon Aeppli
Simon joined the Film Production team at UCA in 2009, previously working as a freelance filmmaker and educator. He taught for a number of years with the Documentary Filmmakers Group on their documentary immersion courses in Poland, Morocco, and London. His short documentaries have been broadcast on Channel 4, FIVE, and ITV London. Film London, Arts Council, England, and Wellcome Trust have also commissioned his films.

Dr Sara Andersdotter
Dr Sara Andersdotter is an academic, artist, researcher and PhD supervisor, teaching as a Senior Lecturer on the Visual Communication Programme. Her research interests and expertise include photographic practice and theory, memory, philosophy and fine art. With an undergraduate and a postgraduate degree in Fine Art, Sara completed a PhD in Fine Art at the University of the Arts London in 2015.

Paul Bretherton
Since 2015 he has combined this with an academic career, gaining a PGCHE while teaching at both UCA Farnham and Regents University London, as Senior Lecturer and year 2 lead for the BA (Hons) Interior Architecture & Design course. Paul is currently Creative Director of Brethertoncreative, who are a highly experienced client facing creative agency with a retail, leisure and workplace focused brand strategy and design background.
