Do you want to see your idea for a game come to life? Through DAE’s Independent Game Production program, you can learn the skills required to turn your ideas into reality. Through learning the complexities of game design, utilizing a game engine, and the value of content creation tools, you will develop the skillset and the portfolio required to oversee the development of your game, from start to finish.

Through this program, you will also have the opportunity to join DAE’s incubation program, DAE Studios, and start your journey to becoming an independent game developer.

In this specialization, you will immerse yourself in the full production process of AAA games. You become an all-in developer, who learns to conjure with game graphics and gameplay programming. In addition, the student learns breathtaking real-time productions such as games, AR, and VR simulations. Art and game design are controlled by code that leads to a sensational gaming experience.

All aspects of a game are made possible through the efforts of a game developer.

Interactive Sound Production is a major within the Bachelor of Digital Arts and Entertainment that focuses on teaching the technical skills needed to create the sound design of games.

You learn how to be a versatile member of game development teams and to understand and execute various tasks (programming, knowledge of audio-visual language, mathematics, physics, 2D & 3D, game engines, level editing, procedures, and pipelines).

The emphasis of this major is to understand and communicate the requirements for sound design in a game. You will learn how to create audio professionally and be trained to correctly deliver your audio creations to game studios.

Digital design and development (Devine) is a unique 3-year bachelor’s programme at KASK Conservatory School of Arts of HOGENT and Howest in Kortrijk (Belgium).

At Devine, you will be trained to use your design, development, and UX skills to create near- and far-future online experiences. The curriculum of Devine is based on these 3 up-to-date industry-proven skills.

This programme is available in Dutch and English.

This is a 3-year, 180 ECTS program taught for many years in Dutch. During that time, they already had an English-taught semester aimed at international exchange students. Out of that has grown the full Bachelor program that will debut in English in September of this year. In terms of admission requirements and tuition fees, it’s the same as for DAE, Devine, and Cyber Security.

In the Cyber Security Professional major, you study specific problems in the field of security and learn how to arm yourself against them. As a cyber security specialist, you will be trained in the latest technologies and techniques in the field of cyber security, cybercrime and cyber warfare. Cybersecurity specialists provide more security and privacy in the digital world.
