Prof. Dr. Renata Thiébaut, Professor of Marketing at GISMA University of Applied Sciences, is an experienced professional with a renowned academic background. In addition to her expertise in E-commerce, digital marketing, and digitization, she has served in the private and public sectors and with Amazon, Alibaba, and the United Nations. This has spanned multiple countries and continents. Dr. Thiébaut worked as a researcher at Harvard University between 2018 and 2020.

Professor Dr. Stefan Stein is GISMA’s President. Formerly, he was the Rector of the University of Europe for Applied Sciences. He has held various positions at the university, including Professor of Finance and Asset Management, Pro-Rector for Teaching, and Dean of Economics. He has studied various federal ministries, banks, insurance companies, and other organizations.

Dr. Sara Ravan Ramzani joined GISMA in October 2022. She has been a principal lecturer, program team leader, and postgraduate director at international universities in Berlin, Malaysia, and Singapore for several years. The Ph.D. she earned in Economics and Information Systems from the University of Putra Malaysia is one of the modules Sara teaches. In 2018, Sara received the ‘Best Innovative Paper Award’ from the Sydney International Business Research Conference.

Dr. Mohammad joined GISMA in February 2021. He received his Ph.D. from the Technical University of Berlin, where he researched semi-supervised data cleansing techniques. Before joining HomaPlus, he worked as a data scientist. At the University of Tehran, he earned an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and a BSc in Computer Engineering. He published several research papers, notably two on his data cleaning system, Raha and Baran. He also received the ACM SIGMOD most reproducible paper award for implementing and releasing these systems.
