The two-year Master of Arts in Design Innovation offers an innovative vision and approach to creativity and the design industry. Its objective is to establish and anticipate cross-cultural directions of multi-faceted themes.
We will develop dedicated paths together with companies or institutions in relation to their needs, always involving our faculty and leading professionals and following our learning methodology based on a“learning by design” approach.
The Future Based Innovation online short course proposes innovative management of design processes. The programme aims to provide managers, entrepreneurs and professionals with the practical knowledge to use the design process and methodology to think differently about strategic and innovation decisions.
The short course develops the vision that design is an integrated activity, capable of perceiving the changes in society and the impact of markets. The course embraces different scales of design, from product to interior and architecture with the aim to highlight and identify the key factors that determine the quality of a design solution, in a path that connects past, recent and future experiences.

Asset Creation is a term used in the CG industry for the creation of all bits and pieces, both big and small, used in Film and Games. This Asset Creation program is designed to train working artists in the CG Industry for the roles of Props & Environments for Film, Characters & Creatures for Film, Environments for Games as well as Characters & Creatures for Games.

Gianfranco Olivotto
Master’s in Fashion Design – Earned his Bachelor’s degree in modern language and literatures at the University of Catania. In 2005, Olivotto co-founded a visual merchandising and branding agency that worked with fashion brands such as La Perla, Ralph Lauren, Borsalino, John Varvatos, developing the projects related to retail and visual communication. In 2012, Olivotto joined Domus Academy as Program Leader of the Master in Fashion Design and Master in Fashion Styling & Visual Merchandising.

Aoi Hasegawa
Master’s in Interior & Living Design – After earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Architecture and Building Science at Tokyo Metropolitan University, Aoi Hasegawa launched her career as a set designer at Fuji Television Network in Tokyo, where she designed sets for Japanese and international musical acts. In 2005, Aoi moved to Milan and earned a second master’s degree at Domus Academy. Since 2006, she has worked with Domus Academy, first as a project assistant and tutor and now as program leader of the Master in Product Design and Master in Interior & Living Design course.

Michele Aquila
Master’s in Interaction Design – After earning his Master’s in Architecture from the University of Florence, Michele Aquila became a partner of Interaction Design Lab Srl. In 2011, Michele founded U10, a studio specializing in online publishing and new media. He then launched Tweetbook, an award-winning online service that publishes ebooks based on Twitter conversations. Michele previously taught design courses at NABA and the Istituto Europeo di Design. He joined the faculty of Domus Academy in 2016 as the program leader of the Master in Interaction Design.

Gaya Calabro
Master’s in Luxury Brand Management – Specialized in European Public Relations, with a major in marketing, Gaya began her professional career working between Paris and Milan for a well-known software house, coordinating the marketing and communication activities. Afterwards she approaches the world of fashion and luxury, working as menswear buyer at .com and retail international companies. She currently works as an E-commerce and Buying consultant for fashion and lifestyle brands in Italy, Switzerland and China.
